Lake Powell Weekend Activity

This last weekend was fall break here up at school, and we got to go to Lake Powell! It was pretty warm concidering how cold it is up here, but did get a bit chilly once we started to go fast on the boat. We bundled up in hoodies and blankets to keep warm. We didn't let the cold get to us and we still got in the beautiful glassy water! Here are some pictures of our fun weekend!

All of us at Rainbow Bridge! Not a bad hike at all!

Dad, Me, and Jimyl jumping in front of Rainbow Bridge

Us at Dangling Rope! (No, icecream.. I was so dissapointed :(

Me, Jimyl, Rhino, and Bry getting ready to do the depth charge again!

Can you tell where the water line is? I've never seen a reflection so awesome as this one!!

It was such a fun weekend! Thanks mom and dad!

Weekend Activites

I know its been awhile since the last update, I've just been accumulating pictures to put up! So as roommates we decided that it would be fun to have an activity that we can do together on the weekends.

First Week: Tie Dyed Shirts
I didn't get any pictures of us in the action of actually dying the shirts because it was to messy so here are is us in our end results.
All of us rockin our sweet shirts! You can tell that some of our shirts turned out better than others...

Second Week: $5 Shoe Extravaganza
At Walmart they have $5 shoes that are just plain colors. So we got white shoes and made up designs to put on them with markers.
But we had a little fun at Walmart along the way...
Some sweet beanie masks!

Collin dropped the yellow vitamin water.. and it looked like he had a little accident!!
But back to the shoes...
My way sweet shoes, I tried to make them mirror design but its harder than it looks!
Jimyl's awesome shoes
Both of us with them on!

The Calendar

So this week I didn't have any classes on Wednesday or Friday because my teacher was out of town for a conference! It was really nice and gave me time to work on my newest project, which is a calendar to put on our wall to get rid of those boring white walls. My mom bought me this cute scrapbook paper kit that was full of paper perfect for every month. So we cut of the letters of the month in the paper, and it looks so cute! Here are a few pictures of the finished product!

The day we finished it we had the door open and as every girl walked by we could hear them say how cute it was. Some girls even came in to look at it! We love having the cutest room in the Hall!
